This plugin connects your website to Concord and an account is required.
On your website: the plugin loads the Concord Privacy script for your connected project from api.concord.tech . The script shows your consent banner and privacy center and records visitors’ consent choices, as configured in your Concord account.
In the WordPress admin: when you sign in to choose a project, your email and password are sent to api.concord.tech to sign you in and list your projects. The plugin keeps the organization and project you choose, never your email or password.
Use of Concord is governed by the Concord SaaS Agreement and the Data Protection Agreement .

Getting started.
Automatic Installation
01From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Plugins and click Add New Plugin.
02Search for “Concord” and click Install Now.
03Click Activate to enable the plugin.
Manual Installation
04Download the Concord plugin zip file from the WordPress.org page or via our Concord WordPress Integration Guide .
05From your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins and click Add New Plugin .
06Click Upload Plugin , choose the downloaded zip file, and click Install Now .
07Once installed, click Activate to enable the plugin.
Connect Your Website
08In the WordPress admin, open Concord from the menu.
09Sign in with your Concord account and choose the project for this website, or use Quick Setup with your project ID (in Concord under Deployment > Installation > Embed Concord).
10Keep Add Concord to this website on to add the Concord script to your website.
11Click Open Concord to manage your consent banner, branding, consent settings, and privacy center in the Concord web app. Changes apply to your website automatically.

Where do I change my consent banner, branding, and consent settings?
In the Concord web app, which has every setting and advanced control, plus new features like improved previews. Click Open Concord on the plugin’s page in WordPress. Changes apply to your website automatically, without updating the plugin.
What happens when I disconnect?
Disconnecting removes Concord from your website, so your consent banner stops showing until you connect again.
Does Concord meet various privacy laws like GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, DSGVO, PDPA, DPDPA, etc.?
Yes, Concord was built to work with different regions and privacy laws. We provide full regional support that detects the location of each user and that can be used to show different experiences that align with different privacy laws. Concord also includes some additional more advanced features not typically included by standard cookie consent vendors, including privacy request/data subject request handling and data mapping. That provides additional compliance functionality allowing you to check more compliance boxes off.
Can we change the look of the consent banner and privacy center to match our company branding? What customization options do you support?
Branding is fully configurable and we support multiple options to match Concord to the look of your website (bar/box banner type, location, colors, logo, font, light/dark/branded theme, button radius, card radius, etc.). Does it automatically detect and block new trackers as they appear?
Concord has always focused on providing the most powerful automatic tracker scanning, categorization, and blocking engine in the industry. There are unfortunately too many other consent products out there that are simply not compliant or that require numerous ongoing manual technical maintenance steps to stay compliant. We automatically detect and block new trackers in real-time as they appear and they are matched against a large global library. If we don\’t have a match, it will appear in your trackers table (cookies, scripts, iframes, etc.) for categorization.
Does Concord support Google Consent Mode V2? Is Concord a Google CMP partner?
Yes, Concord is a certified Google CMP partner and Concord fully supports Google Consent Mode V2. Google Consent Mode V2 allows websites to adjust how and when data is shared with Google based on user consent collected via the Concord Consent Banner & Privacy Center.
With Concord’s multi-language automatic translation and regional compliance features, how does the platform handle localized consent management across different regions with varying privacy laws, such as the EU\’s GDPR?
Concord currently offers geo-targeting and automatic language translation of our Consent Banner and Privacy Center, and we have separate engines for each. For multi-language automatic translation, we use each user\’s preferred language so that the consent banner and privacy center are shown in their desired language. For regional compliance support, we detect user location in real-time and allow you to create multiple regions (like having one for EU GDPR and one for the US) with different settings and experiences.
