War Map Live

War Map Live is the official WordPress plugin for War Map Live — a live war map of ongoing conflict, built from public news feeds and refreshed every few minutes.

It puts the same real-time conflict map you see on warmaplive.com directly on your own site: incidents appear on an interactive world map as they are reported, each one linking back to the article it came from. Drop it on a page with a shortcode or a block and it keeps itself up to date — there is nothing to sync and nothing to maintain.

You need a free embed key

warmaplive.com refuses to be framed by default, so an ordinary <iframe> pointing at it shows an empty box. An embed key lifts that for the domains you list on it , and nothing else.

Getting one takes about a minute at id.lumorabuild.com/account/embeds : name your site, list your domain, copy the key, paste it into the plugin. It is free and it does not consume credits.

Because a key only permits showing the map on your own domains, it is not a secret and it is safe to leave in your page source. It is worthless to anyone else.
