Admin Page Notes

Have you ever created a page template that just aggregated posts of a custom post type? Pretty cool huh?

Well, your client won’t think it’s that cool 2 months from now when they’re editing their site. They click “edit page” and it’s blank! .

Now you can add notes and links on these pages that will give your clients, authors or other editors, clear directions when editing their site. Check out the screenshots to see it in action.

Using The WordPress Dashboard

1. 01Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
2. 02Search for ‘Admin Page Notes’
3. 03Click ‘Install Now’
4. 04Activate the plugin on the Plugin dashboard

Uploading in WordPress Dashboard

1. 05Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
2. 06Navigate to the ‘Upload’ area
3. 07Select admin-page-notes.zip from your computer
4. 08Click ‘Install Now’
5. 09Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard

Using FTP

1. 10Download admin-page-notes.zip
2. 11Extract the admin-page-notes directory to your computer
3. 12Upload the admin-page-notes directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
4. 13Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
