External services
Diagnostic sharing is on by default and can be turned off in the Advanced section of any connected form. It sends software versions, aggregate configuration and delivery counts, and random installation/device identifiers to Signls. It excludes contact/submission values and credentials. See privacy details .
This plugin connects to Benchmark Email. When you connect, refresh or open a configured form’s settings, it authenticates with your API key and requests the available lists, fields and account settings. A configured form submission sends the email address and the fields you map to your selected destination. A test submission sends the test address and configured fields. Subscription and consent settings determine whether a submission is sent.

Privacy
ClickSyncr does not set tracking cookies or send visitor IP addresses to a geolocation service. If you map context fields, the mapped page URL, IP address, browser information or submission time is sent to Benchmark Email. Optional sender context adds the page, form, time and browser to the site owner’s notification email. API credentials, form settings and sync counters are stored in your WordPress database. Administrators can enable a local diagnostic log with redacted personal data. ClickSyncr does not receive your form submissions.

Automatic installation
01Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
02Go to Plugins > Add New.
03Search for “ClickSyncr for Benchmark Email – Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable & Forminator”.
04Click Install Now , then Activate .

05Download the plugin ZIP file.
06In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.

09Edit any form and open its ClickSyncr for Benchmark Email – Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable & Forminator settings.
10Paste your Benchmark Email API key, choose a list, and map your fields (email is required).

Do I need a Benchmark Email account?
Yes. You’ll need an active classic Benchmark Email account and its API key to sync your contacts.
My key starts with bme_ and will not connect
That key belongs to Benchmark’s new platform, launched in April 2026, which speaks a different API. This release connects classic accounts; new-platform support is on its way, and the key card names the key for what it is the moment you paste it.
Which form builders are supported?
Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable Forms, and Forminator. At least one of them must be installed and activated.
Where do I find my Benchmark Email API key?
Log in to Benchmark Email and open Integrations > API, then copy your key. The setup guide shows exactly where to paste it.
Can I map custom fields?
Yes. Map any form field to Benchmark Email’s contact fields, from first and last name through phone, company and address.
How does the opt-in consent field work?
Pick a consent field (a checkbox, acceptance, or radio) from your form. When a visitor ticks it, the contact is sent to your list; when they leave it unticked, nothing is sent to Benchmark Email at all. Leave it as “None” to send every submission.
Does it work with Benchmark Email double opt-in?
Yes. Benchmark Email applies whatever opt-in your list is set to, single or double, and offers no way to override it per submission. The panel shows the list’s setting and links you to where it is changed.
Can I use different settings for different forms?
Yes. Every form has its own ClickSyncr for Benchmark Email – Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable & Forminator setup, so each can sync to a different list.
