03Create a new API key and copy it.

External services
Diagnostic sharing is on by default and can be turned off in the Advanced section of any connected form. It sends software versions, aggregate configuration and delivery counts, and random installation/device identifiers to Signls. It excludes contact/submission values and credentials. See privacy details .
This plugin connects to EmailOctopus. When you connect, refresh or open a configured form’s settings, it authenticates with your API key and requests the available lists, fields and account settings. A configured form submission sends the email address and the fields you map to your selected destination. A test submission sends the test address and configured fields. Subscription and consent settings determine whether a submission is sent.

Privacy
ClickSyncr does not set tracking cookies or send visitor IP addresses to a geolocation service. If you map context fields, the mapped page URL, IP address, browser information or submission time is sent to EmailOctopus. Optional sender context adds the page, form, time and browser to the site owner’s notification email. API credentials, form settings and sync counters are stored in your WordPress database. Administrators can enable a local diagnostic log with redacted personal data. ClickSyncr does not receive your form submissions.

Automatic installation
01Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
02Go to Plugins > Add New.
03Search for “ClickSyncr for EmailOctopus – Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable & Forminator”.
04Click Install Now , then Activate .

05Download the plugin ZIP file.
06In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.

09Edit any form and open its ClickSyncr for EmailOctopus – Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable & Forminator settings.
10Paste your EmailOctopus API key, choose a list, and map your fields (email is required).

Do I need an EmailOctopus account?
Yes. You’ll need an active EmailOctopus account and an API key to sync your contacts.
Which form builders are supported?
Contact Form 7 , WPForms , Gravity Forms , Ninja Forms , Fluent Forms , Formidable Forms , and Forminator . At least one of them must be installed and activated.
Where do I find my EmailOctopus API key?
Log in to EmailOctopus and open Developer > API keys in your dashboard, then create a new key. Each builder setup guide shows exactly where to paste it.
Can I map custom fields?
Yes. Map any form field to your list’s EmailOctopus custom fields. Fields belong to a list, so the mapping list follows the list you choose.
How does the opt-in consent field work?
Pick a consent field (a checkbox, acceptance, or radio) from your form. When a visitor ticks it, the contact is sent to EmailOctopus; if they leave it unticked, nothing is sent at all, so nobody is added without agreeing. Leave it as “None” to use the subscriber status you chose for the form.
Does it work with EmailOctopus double opt-in?
Yes. Choose “Use list setting” as the contact status and your list’s own double opt-in setting decides. The Active and Unconfirmed choices override it per form.
Will it create duplicate contacts?
No. EmailOctopus matches on email address: an existing contact is updated with the fields you mapped, and a new one is added.
Can I use different settings for different forms?
Yes. Every form has its own ClickSyncr for EmailOctopus – Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable & Forminator setup, so each can sync to a different list.
