Sites multilingues :
External Services
This plugin connects to external services provided by GPSem.io to synchronize website data and enable bidirectional communication between WordPress and the GPSem platform.
1. GPSem.io API – https://app.gpsem.io
What it is used for: The GPSem.io API is used to synchronize content, metadata, categories, tags, users, and media files between your WordPress site and the GPSem platform. This enables centralized content management and SEO optimization.
What data is sent and when: * Posts, Pages, and Custom Post Types : When you create, update, or delete content in WordPress, the plugin sends the post ID, title, content, slug, post type, status, author information, publication date, featured image URL, SEO metadata (title and description), categories, tags, ACF flexible content, and on multilingual sites the language code, the IDs and the URLs of its translations to GPSem.io. Custom fields written by other plugins are not sent. * Categories and Tags : When you create, update, or delete taxonomies, the plugin sends term ID, name, description, slug, taxonomy type, parent ID, SEO metadata, and on multilingual sites the language code and the IDs of its translations. * Users : When administrators, editors, or authors are created, updated, or deleted, the plugin sends user ID, email, first name, last name, role, description, and social media links. * Site languages : On multilingual sites, when the list of languages changes (language added or removed, default language, multilingual plugin enabled or disabled), the plugin sends the language codes, locales, names and home URLs. * Media Files : When media is uploaded via the API, image files are sent to WordPress for processing.
Data transmission occurs: * Automatically when content is saved, updated, or deleted in WordPress, if “Synchronisation vers GPSem” is checked in GPSem > Settings (content and user accounts have separate checkboxes) * When GPSem.io initiates synchronization via API calls to your WordPress site * Only when you have configured your API key and site ID in the plugin settings
Tracking tags and product feed (GPSem > Tags & Shopping) — optional, off by default: Nothing is loaded until you fill in an identifier. For each identifier you enter, the visitor’s browser loads the script of the matching service and sends it page views and, with WooCommerce, e-commerce events (product viewed, add to cart, checkout, purchase: product IDs, names, prices, quantities, order number and amount). With “Wait for the visitor’s consent” enabled (default), Google tags start in Consent Mode with everything denied and the other services are loaded only after your cookie banner grants advertising consent. * Google tag / Google Ads / Google Tag Manager / Google Customer Reviews (googletagmanager.com, apis.google.com) — Terms , Privacy . Google Customer Reviews also receives the customer e-mail address and delivery country, on the order confirmation page only. * Meta pixel (connect.facebook.net) and, if you enter a Conversions API token, a server-side call to graph.facebook.com for each purchase with the order amount, product IDs, IP address, user agent and SHA-256 hashes of the customer e-mail and name — Terms , Privacy . * TikTok pixel (analytics.tiktok.com) — Terms , Privacy . * LinkedIn Insight Tag (snap.licdn.com) — Terms , Privacy . * Pinterest tag (s.pinimg.com) — Terms , Privacy . * Microsoft Advertising UET (bat.bing.com) — Terms , Privacy . The product feed is a public URL of your own site protected by a token; it is read by the platforms you give it to and sends nothing by itself.
Inbound API security: * The API only answers under its configured directory. * Calls can be restricted to GPSem server IP addresses (149.202.91.195 and 149.202.91.234 by default). * The API key is accepted in the Authorization: Bearer header; the ?key= URL parameter can be refused from the settings. * Repeated invalid keys are temporarily blocked.
Privacy Policy: https://www.gpsem.io/politique-de-confidentialite Terms of Service: https://www.gpsem.io/conditions-generales
2. Google Tag Manager and YouTube IFrame API (optional Analytics module)
Only when the Analytics module is enabled in GPSem > Analytics (it is disabled by default). The module pushes engagement events (time on page, scroll depth, clicks, video plays) to the page’s data layer, which your own Google Tag Manager container can forward to Google Analytics 4, and it loads the YouTube IFrame API script from https://www.youtube.com/iframe_api in the visitor’s browser to measure video plays. No data is sent by the plugin’s server.
Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics: https://policies.google.com/privacy — https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/terms/us/
3. RSS feeds you configure (optional Google News feed)
Only when you add feed addresses in GPSem > Flux RSS. Your server then fetches those feeds, from the sites you chose, to build the google-news feed. No visitor data is sent. The terms and privacy policy that apply are those of each feed’s publisher.
4. GPSem.io Plugin Information Service
What it is used for: This service was previously used to check for plugin updates. However, as per WordPress.org guidelines, this functionality has been removed. Plugin updates are now managed exclusively through the WordPress.org repository.
What data is sent: No data is sent to this service. The update checking functionality has been completely removed from the plugin.
