Example: a reader opens the fifth card

After returning from the card's detail page, the reader should be able to recover the loaded list and relevant position. If history restoration is supported, preserve the loaded state or enough information to reconstruct it. Resetting to an unrelated hero makes the directory feel unreliable.

Test more than a mouse wheel

Use keyboard navigation, touch scrolling, a slow connection and a failed request. Check that the retry keeps the same source position and that new cards are deduplicated. Confirm that essential links below the list remain reachable.

The useful measure is whether people can continue, recover and stop comfortably, not how many cards the interface can append in one uninterrupted animation.
